Shiner Beer launches first creative work from new AOR (Score 66)


by a 90-second spot that will air on TV, streaming and digital. The campaign also includes 15 and 30-second cuts of the spot and OOH placements all over the county. Additionally, Shiner is planning some experiential events during the Texas State Fair in September. Sellers should contact Shiner for more details and to offer ad space. 

According to Pathmatics, Shiner earned 24.9m impressions YTD through Facebook ads (70%), Instagram ads (23%) and Twitter ads (8%). It placed 100% of these ads site direct onto sites such as facebook.com, instagram.com and twitter.com. It spent around $180.1k on digital display ads YTD, just 22% of the $807k spent in this cha nnel during the same time period of 2020. Full-year spend jumped from $437.8k in 2019 to $1.2m in 2020. 

Per iSpot, Shiner has not invested in national TV ads since spending around $2k in Q2 of 2020 during "Seinfeld." 

Sellers-- Shiner seems to be targeting millennials and Gen-Zers (21+). It mainly invests in digital display ads that it places directly onto social media sites Facebook, Instagram and Facebook. Spend is down significantly so far this year, but the brand just launched a big marketing push, so I expect to see spend numbers rise. Sellers should reach out soon to offer last-minute campaign ad space.
